(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) An individual has been charged following a collision investigation on Teeterville Road.
At approximately 2:00 p.m. on Monday, November 25, 2024, officers from the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment, along with Norfolk County Paramedic Services, responded to a single-vehicle collision on Teeterville Road in Windham, Norfolk County.
It was determined that a Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) was travelling on Teeterville Road when it left the roadway and struck a treeline. Minor injuries were reported.
As a result, the driver was taken into custody without incident.
28-year-old Zachary HUNTER of Norfolk County has been charged with the following alleged offences:
Operation while prohibited under the Criminal Code,
Driving while under suspension while suspended under HTA section 41/42,
Driving while under suspension (two counts),
Careless driving,
Use plate not authorized for vehicle.
The accused has been held in custody and is scheduled to appear for a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe on Tuesday, November 26, 2024.
