(CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES, ON) Members of the City of Kawartha Lakes Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) entered into an impaired driving investigation on November 26, 2024 following a call for service regarding a motor vehicle.
On November 27, 2024, at approximately 6:31 pm, an off-duty OPP officer reported a possible impaired driver northbound on Highway 35 just south of Fenelon Falls. Officers responded to the call for service. A traffic stop was completed and officers entered into an impaired driving investigation.

Drive Motor Vehicle with Open Container of Liquor
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Lindsay at a later date. The motor vehicle was towed and impounded for 7 days and the drivers license was suspended for 90 days.
