(DRYDEN, ON) Members of the Dryden Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Detachment have arrested and charged one individual after a motor vehicle collision.
On December 2, 2024, at approximately 2:00 p.m. members of the Dryden OPP Detachment responded to a motor vehicle collision on Highway 17 in the Township of Zealand.
Through investigation, it was determined that one of the drivers involved in the collision had been consuming alcoholic beverages. The accused was placed under arrest after refusing to provide a breath sample into an approved screening device (ASD).
Conor JONES, 34-years-old, of Barrie, has been arrested and charged under the Criminal Code with:
· Dangerous operation
· Failure or refusal to comply with demand
The accused has been released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Dryden January 20, 2025.
