(PEMBROKE, ON) – The Upper Ottawa Valley (UOV) Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating a collision that sent a pedestrian to hospital with serious injuries.

On December 3, 2024, at approximately 3:00 p.m., officers responded to a single vehicle collision involving a school bus and a pedestrian near the intersection of Carmody Street and Everett Street in Pembroke. The school bus driver and student passengers were not injured.

Everett Street is currently closed between Somerset Street and Eganville Road as the investigation continues. Updates will be provided as further information becomes available.
