On December 4, 2024, at 1:54 a.m., members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police were engaged in a Festive, Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere (RIDE) program, on Hamilton Road in Thames Centre.
A vehicle entered the program at which time a traffic stop was initiated.
Jennifer KRANCZOCH, a 32-year-old of London, has been charged under the Criminal Code and Liquor Licence Control Act with:
· Operation while impaired blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
· Driving motor vehicle with liquor readily available
The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice on January 28, 2025, to speak to the charges.
The festive RIDE Program is supported by the Ontario Association of Chiefs of Police (OACP) in an effort to keep Ontarios roads safe from impaired drivers during the holiday season. The strategy is to take alcohol and drug-impaired drivers off the roads. The Festive RIDE program runs through the month of December and ends January 2, 2025.
