(CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES, ON) Members from the City of Kawartha Lakes Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) entered into an impaired driving investigation following an interaction at a collision scene.
Officers responded to a report of a single vehicle collision on William Street in Bobcaygeon on Friday January 10, 2025 at approximately 6:26pm. Upon arriving on scene an impaired driving investigation commenced. A red GMC pick-up was involved in the collision when it struck a Hydro pole.

Operation while Impaired Blood Alcohol Concentration over 80
In addition to the charges the driver received a 90-day license suspension, and the motor vehicle was impounded for 7 days.
The accused was released from custody with conditions and will appear later in court.
