(RENFREW, ON) – The Renfrew Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged one person after receiving reports of a suspicious vehicle.



On March 15, 2025, at approximately 10:00 p.m., Renfrew OPP received reports of a suspicious vehicle parked at a local business in the Town of Renfrew. It was reported that the vehicle had been there for approximately four hours with the music blaring.



Police located the vehicle matching the description and spoke to the driver.



As a result of the investigation, Andrew Robert WANNEK, age 34, of Eganville, was charged with:

· Possession of a Schedule I substance

· Obstruct peace officer

· Possess unmarked cigarettes

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke on April 16, 2025.
