(MIDDLESEX CENTRE, ON) Middlesex County OPP investigating a break and enter to business in Komoka.
On March 15, 2025, at 1:07 a.m., members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), were dispatched to a business at 9919 Glendon Drive in Komoka, Municipality of Middlesex Centre, for the report of commercial alarm and possible break and enter in progress.
Investigation revealed a vehicle was used to breach the front doors to the business.
The vehicle had previously been reported as stolen out of the City of London.
Two individuals entered the store and proceeded to steal miscellaneous items. The value of items taken is unknown at this time.
Investigation revealed two individuals fled the scene in a vehicle which was later located at an address on Jubilee Road in Chippewas of The Thames First Nation.
The vehicle had previously been reported as stolen out of Chatham-Kent.
As a result, Perry JACOBS, a 25-year-old of Chippewas of the Thames First Nation has been charged under the Criminal Code with:
Break, Enter a place commit indictable offence
Possession Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000 in Canada
Operation While Prohibited under the Criminal Code
The accused was held for bail.
The second suspect is described as: Female, 56″ to 58″, medium build, red touque, black jacket with grey jogging pants and brown shoes.
The investigation is continuing.
