(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) Two individuals are facing charges after a traffic stop in Simcoe.
At approximately 1:23 a.m. on Saturday, March 22, 2025, a Norfolk County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer conducted a traffic stop and initiated an investigation on Talbot Street South in Simcoe, Norfolk County.
The investigation revealed that the drivers licence was suspended, prohibiting them from operating a vehicle.
During the interaction with the driver and passenger, suspected cocaine was observed inside the vehicle. Both individuals were taken into custody without incident.
30-year-old Victoria SNOWDEN from Norfolk County has been charged with the following alleged offence:
Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking cocaine.
The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe on Tuesday, April 22, 2025.
36-year-old Lisa BARBER from Norfolk County has been charged with the following alleged offences:
Driving while under suspension (two counts),
Operation while impaired alcohol and drugs,
Driving motor vehicle with open container of liquor,
Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking cocaine,
Possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000.
The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe on Tuesday, April 22, 2025.
