(HURON-KINLOSS, ON) On April 27, 2025, at approximately 12:55 a.m., a member of the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) stopped to check a vehicle along Campbell Street, Township of Huron-Kinloss.
The driver was placed under arrest and transported for further testing.
Thomas BRINDLEY, 46-years-old, of Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh, was charged with:
Operation while Impaired, CC 320.14(1)(a)
Failure or refusal to comply with demand, CC 320.15(1)
Resist peace officer, CC 129(a)
Obstruct peace officer, CC 129(a)
Possession of a schedule I substance methamphetamine, CDSA 4(1)
Have care or control of a vehicle with cannabis readily available, CCA 12(1)
The accused is set to appear at the Walkerton Court of Justice on May 28, 2025, to answer to the charge.
