(PUSLINCH TWP, ON) A driver is facing five charges stemming from a traffic stop at a RIDE program.
On June 12, 2025, at approximately 4:00 a.m., the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were conducting a Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere (RIDE) program on Queen Street within Morriston.
During the initiative, a vehicle was stopped, and as a result of the investigation, David HACHEY, 38-year-old of Guelph, was arrested and charged under the Criminal Code and Highway Traffic Act with:
Possession property obtained by crime under $5000
Operation while prohibited legal restriction from any other act of parliament or provincial law
Failure to comply with release order other than to attend court
Driving while under suspension (two counts)
The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
