(CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES, ON) Members from the City of Kawartha Lakes Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) entered into an impaired driving investigation after receiving two traffic complaints regarding a vehicle stopped in the middle of a live lane.
On Tuesday October 07, 2025 at approximately 00:42 am, officers were notified of a traffic complainant for a vehicle stopped in a live lane of traffic on County Road 36 at Kennedy Bay Road. Officers located the motor vehicle and began an impaired driving investigation. The driver was charged with 6 charges including Criminal Code of Canada offences.
Logan Row, 23-year-old of Bobcaygeon, was charged with:
Operation while Impaired Alcohol and Drugs
Operation while Impaired Blood Alcohol Concentration (80 plus)
Novice Driver BAC above Zero
Driving Motor Vehicle with Liquor Readily Available
Drive Vehicle or Boat with Cannabis Readily Available
Driver Fail to Surrender Licence
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Lindsay at a later date. The drivers licence was suspended for 90 days and the motor vehicle was impounded for 7 days.
