(Red Lake, ON) Members of the Red Lake Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) initiated a traffic stop after a complaint of a possible impaired driver in Balmertown, Ontario.
On Monday, November 17th, 2025 at approximately 9 p.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on a motor vehicle and an impaired driving investigation commenced. The operator was arrested and charged under multiple legislations.

The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Red Lake on December 11th, 2025. The accused faced a 90 day Drivers Licence suspension, as well as a 7 day vehicle impoundment.
