(DUFFERIN COUNTY) Members of the Dufferin Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have arrested and charged four local residents following a traffic stop by keen-eyed officers.
On January 17, 2026, at approximately 1:40 a.m., officers from the Dufferin OPP were conducting traffic enforcement in the area of Fourth Avenue in the Town of Orangeville when they observed a motor vehicle commit a Highway Traffic Act infraction. Officers initiated a traffic stop, and during the interaction, quickly developed grounds to initiate a drug trafficking investigation.
Ryan GALBRAITH, a 28-year-old male from Orangeville, has been charged with:
Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking Cocaine
Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking Opioid (other than heroin)
Improper number plate light
Drive vehicle or boat with cannabis readily available
Cory MANN-MAXWORTH, a 32-year-old male from Shelburne, has been charged with:
Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking Cocaine
Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking Opioid (other than heroin)
Jack GRANT, a 29-year-old male from Caledon, has been charged with:
Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking Cocaine
Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking Opioid (other than heroin)
Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose
Carrying a concealed weapon
Ashley REDFORD, a 23-year-old male from Orangeville, has been charged with:
Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking Cocaine
Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking Opioid (other than heroin)

Cutting agent
Collapsible baton
Cannabis
Spoon with drug residue
Three glass crack pipes with residue
Small plastic bags
Red and silver scale with white residue
Black and silver scale with white residue

The accused individuals are scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Orangeville.
