(RENFREW, ON) The Renfrew Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged one person after conducting a Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere initiative (R.I.D.E) in Admaston/Bromley Township.
On Friday, February 20, 2026, at approximately 2:10 p.m., Renfrew OPP officers were conducting a R.I.D.E initiative in Admaston/Bromley Township. A vehicle attempted to evade the initiative, and a traffic stop was conducted.
As a result of the investigation, Brent FLEURY age 35 of Horton Township was charged with:
Operation while prohibited
Obstruct peace officer
Possession of a schedule I substance- Methamphetamine
Possession of a schedule I substance- other drug
Personation with intent to avoid arrest, prosecution or obstruct justice
The accused was released and scheduled to attend the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke on April 1, 2026.
