On April 16, 2026, detectives with Investigation Services, with assistance from officers with the Division 2 Unit, charged 44-year-old Marc Massicotte with assault with a weapon, injuring an animal, and other offences.
Around 7:00 p.m. on September 23, 2025, 911 Communicators received a report of a disturbance in the 0-100 block of Pentagon Boulevard. Officers were dispatched to the scene. An investigation revealed the accused verbally threatened to harm a victim while holding a shovel. The victim and accused are familiar with one another. Through the investigation, detectives also learned the accused struck a dog with a shovel, causing minor physical injuries. The dog does not belong to the victim. A warrant was obtained for the accuseds arrest.
On April 16, 2026, officers with the Division 2 Unit located and arrested the accused. The accused is charged with:
Assault with a Weapon
Disobeying Order of Court
Uttering Threats to Cause Death or Bodily Harm
Injuring Animals
Fail to Comply with Court Order
The accused was released on an appearance notice and is scheduled to appear in court on July 13, 2026.
